Lessons with Tom were the best money I ever spent

Tom has been performing and teaching at a high level for decades. I took lessons with him for over five years and he played a huge role in shaping me as a vocalist. There is no one better at teaching the rock voice and I recommend him for any genre.

Vocal Warm Up

We always start by getting your voice moving. Warm ups are designed to reduce tension, improve breath control, and help you settle into the session with focus.

Focused Technical Work

This is where the real progress happens. I target weak spots like pitch, range, or vocal tone using custom exercises tailored to your voice.

Sing Some Songs

You bring the music you love and we work through it together. I’ll help you with style, delivery, and technique so you can sing with more control and confidence.

I’ve had a great experience and saw major improvement as my lessons progressed. Thomas was always patient and accommodating. Five stars.

How Online Lessons Compare to in-person coaching

The honest truth

Online singing lessons give you the same expert coaching and vocal results without ever leaving your home. They are a great option for adults who are not located near one of my private studios in Chandler, North Phoenix, or West Phoenix.

Sessions are held on Skype and include vocal playback, screen sharing, and full recordings of each lesson so you can practice smarter between sessions. Scheduling is flexible and you save time with zero commute.

That said, in-person lessons offer the added benefit of using a professional PA system, which helps you hear your voice more clearly while training. Both formats get great results. It just depends on what fits your lifestyle best.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have more questions? Shoot me a text or give me a call and I’ll answer you as soon as possible.

We meet over Skype or Teams at your scheduled time. I guide you through vocal warmups, custom exercises, and songs of your choice. I record key parts of the session so you can practice more effectively between lessons.

You just need a good internet connection, a quiet space, and a phone or computer with a camera and mic. If you have a USB mic or headphones, even better, but not required.

Absolutely. I work with adult students all over the country and they see real results. Since these lessons are one-on-one and focused, you get detailed feedback and a plan built around your voice.

Whatever you want to sing. Rock, pop, acoustic, musical theater — you bring the songs and I will help you sound your best while keeping your voice healthy.

Most students take one lesson per week. That keeps you moving forward while giving you time to practice. Consistency is key, especially in the beginning.

  • Adults who want to build a voice they can rely on and feel proud of

  • Beginners who need a clear, step-by-step way to start singing with confidence

  • Singers returning after a long break who feel rusty or unsure where to begin

  • Anyone feeling stuck with slow progress, vocal strain, or unclear technique

  • Students looking for flexible lessons they can take remotely or from home

  • Performers preparing for gigs, studio sessions, or auditions

  • People who simply love to sing and want to sound better doing it
